Maria Jansen nominated for ‘Vrouw in de Media Award 2016 – Limburg’
Every year the ‘Vrouw in de Media Award’ is presented to a woman who has created a distinct profile for herself in the media. For the first time there will also be a ‘Vrouw in de Media’ winner per province. After all, the visibility of female role models in local and regional media is just as important.
Maria Jansen, Professor of Population-Focussed Health Policy and programme leader of the Academic Collaborative Centre for Public Health Limburg, has been nominated for the province Limburg. The centre’s studies are diverse, with subjects ranging from the prevention of obesity and absenteeism to poverty and the health gap in Limburg. Study results are frequently publicised via newspaper, radio, social media and regional television.
Show your support by voting for Maria via www.vrouwindemedia.nl before 22 January 2017.
