In Memoriam Hans-Martin Ohlms

On Thursday, September 27, 2018, unexpectedly, Hans-Martin Ohlms died at the age of 31.

He studied in both the master's in International Business and International and European Tax Law. He was also an alumnus of the bachelor Economics and Business Economics.

Hans-Martin was a happy and social young man who knew many friends in both faculty communities. His friends describe him as people-oriented and curious, with the gift of making everyone feel that they were special. He was also always very willing to help. His constructive and creative feedback, both inside and outside education, has helped his community greatly. Because of his enthusiastic personality he was also a happy participant in parties and group meetings, he was loyal in his friendships. He saw his studies as a step towards a bright future.

However, after his energetic bachelor study, he was faced with a number of personal setbacks, but he had overcome these and was about to graduate. It is difficult to understand that his life and his special talents have ended. It is a heavy loss and we think of him in precious memory.
