Dr Marc van Zandvoort, Prof. Dr. (M.A.M.J.)

My name is Marc van Zandvoort and since 1998 I work at Maastricht University. I studied physics and I got my PhD on the use of fluorescence techniques in understanding the energy transfer process in (my own cultivated) spinach. After over a year in beautiful Bologna in Italy, I switched to using advanced Microscopy for understanding biomedical tissues in Maastricht. Since 2009 I also do that in Aachen, since 2017 I have a chair in "advanced optical microscopy".
