Language café
Maastricht University has a very international character. Our students and colleagues come from different countries, with their own cultures, traditions and languages. That's where the concept of Language café came from. Getting to know native speakers and becoming enthusiastic about learning a new language.
The Language café is a starting point for students interested in learning new languages. At every Language café there will be a native speaker present to talk to. Up till now students could chose from Language cafes with a focus on Dutch, Spanish, French or German. Various activities and games are organised to get acquainted with the language.
