Kenneth Pasmans, MSc (K.A.)
Kenneth Pasmans is a PhD student at the Department of Human Biology, Maastricht University Medical Center+. In 2017, he completed the Master program Biomedical Sciences at Maastricht University, with a specialization in Nutrition & Metabolism.
As of March 2018, he has been working on two research projects. For the first project, he is investigating in vitro whether the secreted products by the fatty liver have an effect on skeletal muscle atrophy and insulin resistance. For the second project, he is investigating in vivo with research participants how supplementation with L-arabinose can influence blood glucose concentrations after sucrose intake.
