Julia Walczyk, PhD candidate (J.M.)

Julia Walczyk is a full-time PhD candidate at the Political Science Department at FASoS. She holds a Bachelor's degree in European Studies and a Master's degree in European Public Affairs, both from FASoS. 

Her PhD dissertation examines the impact of projectification of EU Policies on local actors' authority in the Euroregion Meuse-Rhine via a conceptual lens of liquid authority. 

Julia has a record of 16 scientific publications, including co-edited volume "EU Cohesion Policy: A Multidisciplinary Approach", five co-authored journal articles, four research blogs.

Julia's research interests include EU Cohesion Policy, Projectification of EU Policies, Implementation and Evaluation of EU Policies, EU Governance, Financial Compliance, Societal Impact of Academic Research.
