Recap: Hub Fest

On the 15th of November from 17:00 to 00:00 was the "Hub Fest" in Tapijn Park at the Sustainability Hub!🌿

This is a yearly event where the resident hub organisations take over the space and organize workshops, events, bake sales, information stands and more. This gives everyone the opportunity to present their organization to visiting students/people, raise funds for their respective organizations, show off the Hub, and to just have a nice time together :) 

This year we had 13 different organizations present, as well as the different faculty Green Teams and yours truly, the Green Office :) From 16h-17h to 20h was the workshop-stands time, then from 20h onwards Love foundation had a DJ set downstairs with free drinks and discussions. 

The Hub Fest was also the opportunity for the MudLab to do its soft opening! Farbod is our new resident ceramics expert who has opened a studio in the hub under the Art for Equity project, organizing regular workshops for students, people of color and other marginalized groups. 

The Hub Fest was overall a great success, very fun event and a lovely example of the warm and active community currently inhabiting the Sustainability Hub :)
