Dr H. Roebertsen

Since February 1997 I am working for the Faculty of Health Sciences for the period of 3 years (until 1-2-2000). My tasks emanate from the Faculty Development project. Within the framework of this project I organise and give trainings, amongst others the training 'Lecturing within PBL'. I also give skills trainings. Research: in October 1996 I obtained my doctorate at the department of Didactics in Biology of the University of Utrecht. My research concerned development of understanding in secondary school pupils. For this I developed and evaluated problem-based educational materials. I am still interested in subjects such as independent learning and effects of problem-based learning. In my present job I am concerned with the research into the effects of the trainings within the framework of Faculty Development.
