Green Teams Mixer ahead of Sustainability Days
Green Teams and heads of student organizations came together on the Green Office hosted Mixer event.
On 11th February 2025, the Green Office hosted the Green Office Mixer, a networking event that was designed to bring together the Green Teams of each faculty at Maastricht University and the various heads of student organizations in the city. Organized by the Green Office, the Mixer provided a space for conversations and created a space for idea sharing in preparation for the upcoming Maastricht University Sustainability Days.
Kicking off on Earth Day (April 22), the university's Sustainability Days will feature a creative range of faculty-led events all aimed at creating environmental awareness and action across the university community. For Sustainability Days, each faculty's Green Team will contribute to these events that reflect their discipline’s role in not only sustainability but also innovation. The Green Office Mixer served as an opportunity for the student community at Maastricht University, to discuss their thoughts on sustainability and help come up with some ideas or events that they would like to take place on these days. By facilitating new connections, the Mixer set the stage for what promises to be an inspiring series of activities.
