Dr Ir Gerald Drenthen (G.S.)
I am a post-doctorate researcher working on advanced quantitative MRI techniques to answer clinically revelant questions. My main research focus is the quantitative assessment of the in vivo myelin conent using dedicated MRI acquistions.
After obtaining my Master of Science degree (MSc) in Electrical Engineering, I started a PhD project at the School of Mental Health & Neuroscience, Maastricht University in 2015.
After succesfully defending my PhD dissertation in 2020, I started working as a post-doctoral researcher at the School of Mental Health & Neuroscience, Maastricht University.
