Gaia Zoboli (G.)

Gaia Zoboli is a PhD candidate and Lecturer in the Department of International Law at Maastricht University. Her doctoral research focuses on the regulation of unilateral sectoral sanctions as a form of economic warfare under international law. 

Gaia holds an LL.B. in Comparative, European and International Legal Studies (cum laude) from the University of Trento and an LL.M. in Public International Law with a specialisation in Conflict & Security (cum laude) from Utrecht University. During her studies, she completed two Erasmus+ study periods at the National University of Ireland Maynooth and Vrije Universiteit Brussel. Prior to joining Maastricht University, Gaia worked as an intern at the T.M.C. Asser Instituut.
