F.C. van de Baan, MSc

Frank has a background in European Public Health, and holds a masters degree in Health Policy and Management. His PhD research focused on the central of staff in hospitals’ response to dynamic environments. 

He predominantly does research on management of healthcare organizations, with a particular focus on resilience to crises and uncertainty, and sustainable employability of healthcare staff. Regarding education, Frank is de coordinator of the second year Health Sciences course "Entrepreneurial Management in Healthcare".

Besides his work as a postdoctoral researcher at the department of Health Services Research, he also works as a project leader for the “Beweeghuis.” This is an orthopedic network in South Limburg in which various primary, secondary, and tertiary care providers collaborate to enhance healthcare delivery. Within this network Frank leads a project team that aim to create a comprehensive data infrastructure which would allow for data analysis across care providers.
