A Master in Maastricht. Be one.

Visit us and join presentations, in-depth sessions on the individual programmes, and visit our information markets. Maastricht University is known for innovative, small-scale teaching and especially Problem-Based Learning, which focuses on analysing and solving complex problems. You can explore this approach to education further during presentations and workshops.

The Research Centre for Education and the Labour Market (ROA) will give a presentation on the labour market prospects of the presented master’s programmes. You can also find out more about UM’s offer with regards to personal and professional development.

Staff, students and alumni will answer your questions and share their experience of UM and life in Maastricht.

Transport & Parking

Public Transport

You can reach Maastricht from Dutch train stations or from the international rail hub Liège-Guillemins - visit NS or Arriva for schedules, or 9292ov.nl for a journey planner including buses in the city.

Car

It will be busier than usual in the inner city due to another event taking place, so we strongly recommend you don't try to park there. We offer free parking at Universiteitssingel 40 and 50 in Randwyck. You can plan your journey with maastrichtbereikbaar (in English). Car park opening times: 09.00 – 20.00

Airplane

You can reach Maastricht by public transport from several airports.
  Maastricht Aachen Airport (15 minutes by bus)
  Eindhoven (1 1/2 hours by bus and train)
  Schiphol Amsterdam (2 1/2 hours by train)
  Weeze (2 1/2 hours by bus and train)
  Cologne/Bonn (2 1/2 hours by train)
 Düsseldorf (2 1/2 hours by train)
  Brussels Charleroi (1 1/2 hours by bus and train)
  Brussels Zaventem (1 1/2 hours by train)

PLEASE NOTE:

Due to maintenance work on 17 November, there will be no intercity train connection between Sittard and Maastricht. If you travel from the north or west (via Utrecht, Eindhoven or Roermond), you have to change to the arriva train at Sittard (this involves checking out of the NS network and checking into the arriva network with your travel card).

If you are arriving from the east, note that there will be no railway service between Valkenburg and Maastricht Randwyck. There will be busses to Maastricht instead – please allow for 20 minutes of additional travel time.

To travel between Maastricht and Maastricht Randwyck, you can use the city buses.
