Europe Calling! Student Debate 21 January
Europe: Hear my voice! Share your thoughts with us about your future in Europe!
The Maastricht Treaty is celebrating its’ 25th birthday in 2017. How do you think about Europe? What do you consider good results of this 25 years old cooperation in Europe? Where did Europe fail in realizing opportunities? What should be improved and what needs to stay? On this occasion we want to invite you to speak out: let us hear what you think about Europe and about the Euregio, in which we live and work. What is your place in Europe?
Maastricht will host a special Student Debate on January 21st. For this we are aiming to bring together a vast number of students. The aim is to get listings from all 28 member states of the EU to have a real broad European interaction.
In different cities of the Euregio citizens come together to share their ideas, their fears and their wishes for Europe. On the 6th of May 2017 the results of these citizens’ tables will be presented in Maastricht in a final round table.
The Student Debate will be in English and will take place in the Maastricht School of Management (MSM). The program will start at 9:30/10:00 and the event will end at 15:30. Lunch will be provided.
