*CANCELLED *Agora Soirée: Social Equalities in Education: Where do we stand?

-

For a number of years educational reviews have shown that social equality in education has been decreasing. Social origins are all too often the driver of one’s chances and opportunities in life.

Thankfully positive examples of transcending given inequalities do exist. Inge de Wolf, inspector at the inspection agency for educational reviews and professor of education systems at UM
introduces the theme of social inequality in education. The following panel discussion will involve Bert Nelissen, president of the umbrella organization for education in Limburg INNOVO, and Carla Haelermans, education economist at the School of Business and Economics (UM).
