Ceren Pekdemir (C.)
Ceren Pekdemir works as a PhD researcher at the International Centre for Integrated assessment and Sustainable development (ICIS) at Maastricht University (UM). In her research on “Global Sustainable Change: Partnerships between Fragmentation and Cohesion” she analyses the role and dynamics of (multi-stakeholder) partnerships in global governance systems and the effects on transnational regulation. Next to this, she teaches courses at the Master Sustainability Science and Policy. For the Master program, she is responsible for the overall application procedure. Ceren also takes part in the Local Consultative Body on behalf of the VAWO.
Ceren holds a master’s degree in Conflict Resolution and Governance (UvA) and a bachelor degree of University College Maastricht (UM).
