Ceren Pekdemir (C.)

Ceren Pekdemir is assistant professor at Maastricht Sustainability Institute (MSI). She is coordinator of the UM-wide Minor Sustainability, and lecturer in the Master Sustainability Science, Policy and Society. Her research interests focus on Governance for sustainable development, Global civil society, Sustainability labels and certifications, Transitions toward less meat-intensive and more sustainable food systems, and Hybrid meat. 

As representative of the General Union of Education (Algemene Onderwijsbond/AOb), she takes part in the Local Consultative Body at Maastricht University. She is also vice chair of the Board of Examiners of the School of Business and Economics.
