Just starting to ride a bike can feel a bit overwhelming, but the bike workshops have been supporting countless students in taking charge of their bike maintenance. Starting in September, the bike workshop is looking for a new leader! Ready to take on the role?
Are you passionate about bikes? Do you have experience with bike repairs, like changing tires or tightening brakes? If so, we want YOU!!
Starting in September, we’re looking for a Bike Repair Workshop Leader to help students learn how to maintain and fix their bikes. As the workshop leader, you’ll have access to a dedicated space at the Sustainability Hub, complete with spare parts and tools. The Green Office will support and promote your events, and you’ll have the flexibility to shape the workshops in your own style.
Interested in what the workshops are like? Pop by in the upcoming weeks and meet Wilder, our current workshop leader, who will guide you through the space, share helpful tips, and show you the ropes. Some prior knowledge of bike maintenance is needed, but don’t worry—Wilder will help you get up to speed with all the tricks of the trade!
