PPP step 3: How to complete your details

You can complete or change most of the information fields in the personal profile page (PPP) area. However, the data in some fields originate from a source system and will have to be changed in UMployee.

Which details can you change on your PPP?
 initials
 ​contact details like your e-mail address, phone number and room number

How to change your initials on your PPP?
By altering your initials in the first 'Initials' field. 
(first step in the edit profile section, 'General' component).

How to upload your contact details like your e-mail address, phone number and room number?
You can change this information in the first step in the edit profile section, 'General' component). Make sure you thick the box internet and/or intranet below the field, in order to display the selected information.

How to change your job position and an alternative UM-organisational unit?
In PPP you can fill in an alternative UM-position and/or organisation if the default UM-position/ organisation does not fit. (This is the second step in the edit profile section, 'Activities' component). This field will override the default UM-position/ organisation.

Which details can you change in Employee Self Service (ESS)?
 first name, sur name, order of surname in the case of a partner, and your titles

How to change your first name, sur name?
You can change your first and surname in Employee Self Service (ESS). In ESS you will need to go to 'My Profile' via the change icon (the pen icon on the right). Then you enter a screen in which you can change or enter your surname. This change concerns only the choice of partner name and/or own name and the order of these. The change in ESS becomes visible about 15 minutes later on the profile pages.
