Prof Dr Mr Raymond Luja (R.H.C.)

Professor Luja has extensive teaching responsibilities across Maastricht University. At the Faculty of Law, he is coordinator and lecturer for the Master’s courses Estate Planning: Business Succession and Global Tax Policy & Sustainable Governance. He also contributes to the Master’s course State Aid and Public Procurement in the EU, the Bachelor’s course Concepts of Income & Business Taxation, and tax law teaching for first-year law students.

In addition, Professor Luja teaches corporate income tax in the Executive Master of Finance and Control, the International Executive Master of Auditing and the postgraduate programme leading to the Dutch register accountant qualification (MURA) at the School of Business and Economics. He also contributes to continuing professional education for legal and accounting professionals.

Through this broad teaching portfolio, Professor Luja combines his academic expertise in European and international taxation with practical perspectives on tax policy, corporate taxation and the taxation of family-owned businesses.
