Nino Gugushvili (N.G.)
Nino Gugushvili is an assistant professor at Maastricht University in the Work and Social Psychology department of the Faculty of Psychology and Neuroscience. Her research centers on human-AI interaction (HAII), with a focus on how recent developments in AI influence both societal outcomes (e.g., misinformation, polarization) and individual well-being (e.g., harmful social comparisons, excessive technology use). She also investigates whether these risks can be mitigated through policy interventions or by users themselves, by leveraging existing resources or developing new skills (e.g., AI literacy).
