Workshop: Creativity

-

Creativity is about developing new ideas that fit the situation. This applies to every area of human activity, from science and the arts to education, business and everyday life. Creative ideas should offer a fresh perspective while also providing a useful response to the problem or opportunity at hand.

During this workshop, you will explore the creative process through a few brief exercises. We will look at what a person needs to be creative and why it can be challenging to observe the world from a fresh perspective.

You will then try several creative thinking techniques that can be applied in cooperative and constructive active learning, including Problem Based Learning (PBL). These techniques can help you get unstuck and break through fixed patterns of thinking.
