"Optimising Functional Recovery Outcomes In Total Knee Arthroplasty: Insights into Prehabilitation and Patient Perspectives"
This thesis focuses on the effects of preoperative interventions, in particular prehabilitation, and on predictive models to improve functional recovery following total knee arthroplasty (TKA). The results of the studies collectively contribute to a deeper understanding of the preoperative factors that influence recovery outcomes, with an emphasis on the importance of prehabilitation, good preoperative physical fitness and personalised patient care in the context of TKA surgery.
