W. van Vlaardingen

Wieke van Vlaardingen works as PhD student at the MILE department SBE. She obtained her BSc in Philosophy Politics and Economics (PPE) at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. From an interest in the overlap between economics and philosophy, she continued with an MSc in Development Economics at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and a MA in Philosophy (Research) at Utrecht University. She wrote her thesis on justifications for discounting future health at the Bioethics department of the UMC Utrecht. Her PhD project is on health inequality and its relationship with economic inequality.
