Laura Kaschny wins Tilburg University Award for best PhD dissertation
Dr. Laura Kaschny won the 2026 Tilburg University Award for the best PhD dissertation with her thesis "EU Energy Law and Energy Justice – A Substantive, Procedural and Institutional Perspective". Laura's PhD thesis, defended in 2025, was unanimously considered the best of the year and the jury motivated the prize as follows: “The work demonstrates exceptional legal and analytical rigor and offers an innovative perspective on the relationship between EU energy law and the concept of energy justice.”
