Call for Master’s Thesis Presentations on Human Rights Research
Are you writing your Master’s thesis in the field of human rights and interested in sharing your work?
The Maastricht Centre for Human Rights (MCHR) invites Master’s students to participate in a Master’s Thesis Presentation Event on 27 May 2026. This event offers selected students the opportunity to present their research and engage in discussion with human rights experts from the Centre, who will provide feedback and insights on your work.
We welcome theses addressing international human rights law broadly understood, including research exploring its intersections with international criminal law, international humanitarian law, and transitional justice.
The event will take place from 14:00 to 17:00 and will feature a series of short presentations followed by discussion.
We have six presentation spots available.
How to apply
Students interested in participating are invited to submit:
- A short abstract of their thesis project (maximum 150 words)
- A brief motivation explaining what they hope to gain from participating in the event (maximum 150 words)
Please send your submission to humanrights@maastrichtuniversity.nl by 4 May 2026, and indicate “Abstract – Human Rights Research” in the subject line of your email.
