Its Member States are the birthplace of many of the world’s leading multinational companies, including Royal Dutch Shell Group, Nokia, and ING Group. The US and Europe form the largest bilateral trade partnership in the world and their economies are highly interdependent, with transatlantic trade at around € 1.7 billion a day. Knowing how to do business in Europe is vital to any business student.

Fall in Maastricht

This fall semester in Maastricht is especially designed for business students coming from the Farmer School of Business at Miami University. The programme includes a five-day study trip to Berlin. Students take courses offered by Maastricht University and CES.

You can choose from thirteen inspiring and innovative courses offered by Maastricht University’s Center for European Studies (CES) and School of Business and Economics (SBE). SBE is one of less than 1% of business schools worldwide that are ‘Triple Crown’ accredited by the European EQUIS, the American AASCB and the prestigious AMBA. SBE courses use Problem-Based Learning, where you learn in small groups with local and international students. CES courses are designed specifically for CES students only and include exciting experiential components such as field trips and teaching on location. All courses are in English and have a European or international flavour.
