Amrapali Zaveri Awards (AZA)

We awarded two Amrapali Zaveri Awards (AZA) for Data Science:

  1. 'The Amrapali Zaveri Award for Early Career Data Scientist’ for a UM PhD student or Postdoc.
  2. ‘The Amrapali Zaveri Award for Data Science’ for a professor-level UM academic.

The Amrapali Zaveri Early Career Data Scientist Award went to Dr. Anna Schueth. Denise Slenter and Marvin Martens came in close second and third.

The Amrapali Zaveri Data Science Award went to Prof. Dr. Ilja Arts. Prof. Dr. Philippe Lambin and Prof. Dr. Egon Willighagen came in close second and third.
