First FAIR Coffee lecture a big success!

We are proud to announce that the first edition of the FAIR Coffee lecture series was a big success!

The lecture, organized by Open Science Community Maastricht (OSCM) and the Community for Data Driven Insights (CDDI) was attended by more than 60 people.

After a quick introduction on FAIR/Open Science and the FAIR Coffee lecture series, it was time for the main lecture by PhD candidate Lea Beiermann. In her presentation, titled “FAIR to whom? Data sharing in the Open Humanities”, Lea showed how she applied the FAIR principles in her research projects, including the Citizen Science Project Worlds of Wonder and which challenges she came across. The main lecture was followed by a pitch on the upcoming FAIR Essentials workshop and a ‘Caffeine Quiz’. The three winners of this quiz received a voucher for Bandito Espresso.
