Freedom of movement in the Euregion Meuse-Rhine
Freedom of movement constitutes a fundamental freedom for all EU citizens, but has specific meaning for those working and living in border regions. Frontier workers face numerous issues and questions as regards their rights and duties in the fields of social security, pensions and taxation. This seminar gives an up-date of legal and political developments concerning such cross-border issues and addresses numerous concrete problems that arise in practice on a day-to-day basis. Legal practitioners, policy makers, administrators, academics and students are all welcome to join the discussions.
