Pre-registration open for the UM Education Research Day 2026
EDLAB warmly invites you to join us on 17 November for a full day of sharing, learning, skill development and networking inspired by your passion for education research and innovation.
Pre-registration open
We're pleased to invite you to pre-register for the UM Education Research Day.
By completing the pre-registration form, you'll receive updates about the event and help us develop a programme that reflects the interests and priorities of the UM education research community.
The form includes a few short questions about your areas of expertise, the educational challenges you're currently working on, and how your research relates to those challenges. Your responses will help us organise interactive sessions that are relevant and useful to participants.
There's also an opportunity to share any suggestions about what would make the event worthwhile for you.
Thank you for taking a few minutes to contribute.
This year's focus
This year, we will focus on complex challenges facing higher education and explore how different forms of expertise can help us address them.
Through formats such as structured debates, fishbowl discussions, realist utopias and problem clinics, participants will have the opportunity to share ideas, discuss questions, challenge assumptions and work together on possible solutions.
Whether you are experienced in education research or simply curious about how research can inform your work and vice versa, your perspective is welcome.
About the event
The UM Education Research Day welcomes UM staff and colleagues from other educational institutions to share their passion and curiosity regarding education research and its relevance for education practice, and for society.
It offers space for open communication, curiosity, and reflection. And it is a great opportunity to strengthen connections, deepen understanding, gain inspiration and develop solutions together. Participation is free of charge.
You can also read the recap of the previous edition to get an impression of the event.
