Occupation of Oxfordlaan 55 | Update 1
This morning, a group of about 15 activists occupied a Maastricht University building at Oxfordlaan 55. The building houses MRI scanners, among other equipment. The presence of superconducting magnets and cooling gases makes the safety of the activists highly uncertain. We are deeply concerned about the safety of the occupiers and are attempting to engage with them to persuade them to leave the premises voluntarily. The building is completely inaccessible to staff and students.
