La norme pénale a l'épreuve de la protection de I'environnement au Cameroun
On a formal level, Cameroonian environmental law seems attractive, but in practice it is insufficient as it is rarely enforced by those responsible for its implementation.
Environmental law is not well-established in African society, particularly in Cameroon, and this leads to its ineffectiveness. The main result is that the environment does not receive adequate protection in Cameroon, and the numerous attacks on the environment pose a threat to the country’s natural resources. Therefore, strengthening Cameroonian environmental law is vitally important. In this thesis, decision makers can find relevant proposals to improve the legal protection of the environment in Cameroon.
