IGIR seminar series
The IGIR seminar series will be launched after the Summer break, i.e. in September 2025. Similar to the METRO seminars in the past, our main aim is to offer a nice and friendly environment for staff members and visiting researchers to present their ongoing research.
Aims
The IGIR seminar series serves two goals: (1) it allows colleagues to be informed about what others are working on; and (2) it allows presenters to collect comments from colleagues in an informal and constructive manner. All colleagues are allowed to present (i.e. presentations are certainly not limited to IGIR members only) and we especially invite and encourage PhD researchers and guest researchers to do so. The three themes on which IGIR conducts most of its research are Sustainability, Innovation, and Competition. Both legal and interdisciplinary (particularly law and economics) research methods are supported.
Practical information
Seminars will be held once a month, usually on a Monday from 12.00-13.00, in hybrid form. In principle, presentations take 20-30 minutes, followed by Q&A.
Please visit the IGIR homepage for the agenda. Currently we have the following presentations scheduled:
22 September: Belén Gracia
20 October: Kaili Jiang
17 November: Georgia Chapoupi
15 December: Clara Weinhardt (FASoS)
If you want to join a particular IGIR seminar or if you want to be included in the IGIR seminars mailing list, please contact one of the organizers (Niels Philipsen and Andre Nunes Chaib).
