Darryl Cressman awarded seed-money for collaborative educational project
Alongside colleagues from Sorbonne Nouvelle University and Carlos III Madrid, Darryl Cressman was awarded €10.000 seed-money from YUFE (Young Universities for the Future of Europe) and Sorbonne Nouvelle University for a collaborative educational project.
Building from existing YUFE collaborations developed through the project "European Philosophies of Technology," Darryl will use this money to coordinate the third annual YUFE summer school at Sorbonne Nouvelle University dedicated to European Philosophies of Technology. The theme of the 2027 edition of the summer school will be Ecology, AI & Digital Media, & the History of the Philosophy of Technology, which will consist of lectures from leading researchers and will attract PhD students from across Europe.
Darryl will also use this money to collaborate on an application for an Erasmus Mundus joint Master's programme titled "European Philosophies of Technology: Ecology, Digital Media, and History."
