CS@Work Pitch & Matching Events 2026: From First Impressions to Matches
April 2026 was a dynamic month for CS@Work. The Pitch Event on 17 April featured 16 projects from 12 organisations, presented through short, focused pitches that gave students a clear overview of available opportunities. Breaks allowed informal conversations, and DACS alumni shared insights from their current roles.
A week later, the Matching Event took a more hands-on approach. After a brief introduction, students and organisations participated in three rounds of speed dates to explore potential matches, with time in between to reflect and connect.
Together, these events created an energetic setting for students and organisations to connect. Afterwards, both sides rank their preferences—organisations selecting students and students selecting projects - after which a matching algorithm will pair them to maximise the chances of successful collaborations.
