Marte Henningsen (M.E.)
Marte Henningsen is a PhD researcher in Philosophy at Maastricht University (FASoS), with a focus on critical philosophy of technology. In her PhD project Marte focusses on narratives surrounding the advertisement of GenAI for the use in (higher) education using Pragmatism and Critical Theory. Through interviews with teachers she analyses how these narratives translate into their practices. With this project she advocates for a use-case focussed tech development that includes the users of the technology (here: students, teachers, administrators) in the design process.
