Every year, countless talented international students dream of studying at Maastricht University. However, many prospective students face financial challenges that prevent them from pursuing their studies.
As Maastricht University places great importance on equal opportunities and inclusivity, the University Fund Limburg has initiated the project Students for Equality, with a powerful new mission: raising funds to cover tuition fees for international students who cannot afford to study here.
Together with an enthusiastic student team, they want to spread the word about this project and raise donations. As a member of Students for Equality, you will help raise awareness, develop creative (funding)activities, and raise funds.
The team consists of three students from the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences and the Faculty of Law, originating from Egypt, Turkey, and the Netherlands. These different backgrounds mean they complement each other well with diverse ideas and perspectives.
Together we will make education at UM accessible to all young people - regardless of their background, gender identity or socio-economic status.
