Prof Dr J.G.A.M. Lemmink
Jos Lemmink is professor of marketing and holds a Msc. degree in Business Administration (University of Groningen) and a Ph.D. (University of Limburg). He was marketing advisor to Dutch Post and Telecommunication (PTT) in The Hague and visiting professor at universities in Australia and Belgium. From 2006-2013 he was Dean of the Maastricht University School of Business and Economics. He serves on international advisory boards of Hanken, Helsinki, Finland, The University of Sheffield Management School and Queensland University of Technology Business School. Furthermore, he serves as a member of the EQUIS committee and awarding body, as well as in the past AACB’s Initial Accreditation Council.
He area of expertise covers service science and management, service quality, branding, modelling and new media analytics. He published several books, and articles in e.g. Journal of Marketing, Journal of Marketing Research, Journal of Economic Psychology, Journal of Service Research, Journal of Management Studies, International Journal of Research in Marketing and Journal of Retailing. He was editor-in-chief of the International Journal of Service Industry Management (now Journal of Service Management). He carried out international consultancy and research projects for e.g. European Union, Shell, Mitsubishi, Heineken, Océ/Canon, All Pensions Group (APG), Ericsson, Libertel/Vodafone, Dutchtone/Orange, Rabo Bank and Dexia Bank. He is founder of servicesciencefactory.com at Maastricht University. Furthermore, he is involved in the Business Intelligence and Smart Services Institute at the Brightlands Smart Services Campus in Heerlen.
