H. Pijpers

Herman Pijpers joined  UNU-MERIT (formerly MERIT)  in 2001. Before that he worked as webmaster and system administrator at the European Journalism Centre (EJC) in Maastricht.

At UNU-MERIT Herman is responsible for the overall web architecture, web design and  ICT support. He is also the editor of I&T Weekly, which offers a weekly roundup of innovation & technology news.

Besides Herman is the institute's photographer, shooting PhD defences, conferences and other events for the centre's websites, newsletters and brochures.
