In my capactiy as an UB Research Data Management (RDM) Specialist, I am tasked with knowledge sharing and service development activities linked with the delivery of RDM support and data stewardship services to key UM stakeholders and research institutions; primarily, to the School of Business and Economics. The main activities associated with my role as an UB RDM Specialist include RDM intelligence and quality assurance, data stewardship service development, relationship management, education and training on topics such as RDM, FAIR, and GDPR, data curation and functional administration of UM data repositories (DataverseNL), and networking and collaboration within the CDDI. In addition to my role as an RDM Specialist for the UB, I also work as Faculty Data Steward for the School of Business and Economics. As part of this roole, I am tasked with advising and assisting on the development, implmenetation, and coordination of operational policy concerning Faculty systems and processes for delivery RDM, FAIR, and GDPR support to researchers and support staff. In addition to these functions, I also provide consultations, education and trainings, and direct operational support to researchers and support staff.
