Symposium: Building Bridges to Tomorrow

-

What is transition psychiatry? About the organiser

Transitional psychiatry bridges the gap between child and adolescent psychiatry and adult psychiatry, with a specific focus on young people aged 16 to 25. The Transition Team offers complex psychiatric diagnosis and treatment within this transitional phase, with a central focus on continuity of care during this crucial stage of life — essential for giving young people the best chance of positive development.

Mondriaan’s Top Clinical Centre for Transition Psychiatry brings together care professionals from a variety of backgrounds and specialisms, drawing on both child and adolescent psychiatry and adult psychiatry. In addition to providing innovative patient care, they are actively involved in scientific research and education.

The symposia will be held in Dutch only
