Mini-Symposium Omics for Dementia

This mini-symposium brings together leading experts in the field to explore cutting-edge research in genomics, epigenomics, and biomarker discovery.

Focusing on Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders, the program highlights how multi-omics approaches are reshaping our ability to detect, understand, and ultimately intervene in disease processes. From DNA methylation profiling to cell type-specific analyses using novel sequencing technologies, the symposium will showcase innovative methods and their implications for research and clinical practice.

The mini-symposium will consist of two parts: 

Public Session (14:00–15:15) This first part is open to a broader audience, including caregivers and family members of patients. The goal is to bridge clinical insights and biological mechanisms in an accessible way.

Expert Session (15:45–18:05)
The second part will be a more specialized session with invited experts from the UK, Germany, and Maastricht.
