MCEL PhD Forum in March
The next MCEL PhD Forum will take place on 16 March 2016 from 9:15 - 10:45h in room C0.302. Speaker Andrea Broderick will present the main findings of her recently defended PhD entitled 'The long and winding road to equality and inclusion for persons with disabilities : the United Nations convention on the rights of persons with disabilities'.
Apart from its significance for the rights of persons with disabilities the United Nations convention on the rights of persons with disabilities is the first international human rights agreement to which the EU is a party and is - as such - already quite influential within the EU legal order.
After her presentation, Dr. Broderick and Dr. Muir will share their experiences of the process of research and writing leading to the completion of their PhD.
Any other input would be most welcome.
Participants are welcome to bring their lunch.
For questions please contact the speaker.
