On Friday 11 June 2021 at 16.30, prof. dr. Yvonne van der Meer will give her inaugural lecture entitled:

"How sustainable is it? That is the Question"

Yvonne van der Meer was appointed professor of “Sustainability of Chemicals and Materials” in the Faculty of Science and Engineering in November 2019. The chair is affiliated with the Aachen Maastricht Institute for Biobased Materials. The mission of her research group is to develop suitable methods, indicators, tools and accurate sustainability assessments of materials to support the transition from a linear and fossil-based economy to a sustainable bio-based and circular economy.
