*Taking the exam on Friday is optional! For those who are not available that day because of Holy Friday / Sexta-feira Santa celebrations, there is the possibility to take the exams online at a set date within two weeks after the course.

PART II – Setting up and implementing a GDPR compliance framework in practice

Tuesday: Essential GDPR principles and requirements
- Actors, roles and responsibilities: Controller and processor
- The role of the DPO and the interaction with the rest of the organisation
- Supervisory authority and cooperation with the DPAs
- Data Protection Impact Assessment
- Data protection by design and default

Wednesday: Data Transfers
- Transfer personal data safely
- Adequacy decisions
- Standard Contractual Clauses
- Binding corporate rules
- Derogations and exceptions, including data subject consent

Thursday: Getting technical
- Data security management under the GDPR
- Security incidents
- Technical and organisational measures
- Personal data breach type risk management
- Data breach communication: Incidents response plan

Friday: Examination (OPTIONAL)
- Multiple choice exam
- Written exam
