Signals, Systems and Control
DACS Research - Applied Mathematics
Modelling and analysis of dynamical systems with and without user interaction. This ranges from methods of system identification and model parameter estimation, to control system design, stability analysis, model order reduction, and signal and image processing techniques. Our research focuses on regularization techniques for inverse problems, parameterization of lossless systems, recurrence plots for complex dynamics, and methods for signal decomposition and matched wavelet design. Applications are in medicine and life sciences, physics, automation, and engineering.
