Boris Lokshin (B.)

Boris Lokshin is associate professor at the department of Organization and Strategy, Maastricht University. He holds PhD in economics from the University of Maastricht, The Netherlands and an MA in economics from Indiana University, USA. From 2005 to 2007, he worked as senior researcher at the UNU Maastricht Economic and social Research and training center on Innovation and Technology (UNU-MERIT) and since 2007 as professor at the School of Business and Economics.

His research deals with topics at the intersection of fields of strategic management, innovation and entrepreneurship. His research has appeared in the leading management journals such as Strategic Management Journal, Journal of Management, Journal of Management Studies, Journal of Business Venturing, Journal of International Business Studies, Long Range Planning, European Management Review, and European Management Journal;

Innovation journals such as Research Policy, Journal of Product Innovation Management, Technovation, Journal of Technology Transfer, Journal of Engineering and Technology Management; Journal of Business Research, Industry and Innovation as well as in the

Economics journals such as International Journal of Industrial Organization,

Oxford Bulletin of Economics and Statistics, Review of Industrial Organization, Small Business Economics, Journal of Productivity Analysis and Applied Economics.

He has been consultant to the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs on evaluation of the effectiveness of Wage tax and Social Insurance Act (WBSO). Prior EU project involvement includes FP7 GlobInn.
