Shahrezad Fahmy, MSc (S.G.F.)

Shahrezad Fahmy is a PhD candidate in Operations Research at the School of Business and Economics of Maastricht University. Her research focuses on integrated urban public transport systems that combine on-demand bus services with fixed-route public transport, aiming to help cities offer high-quality mobility while reducing congestion and improving liveability.

She holds a BSc in Econometrics and Operations Research and an MSc in Business Research (specialisation Operations Research), both from Maastricht University's School of Business and Economics.

In addition to her research, she contributes to teaching as a tutor for several courses, including Operations Management (BSc International Business and Business Engineering) and Operations Research (BSc Econometrics and Operations Research).
