Rim Versteeg (R.J.)
I am a PhD Candidate in History at the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences. I am interested in the intersection between technology, political economy, and social and cultural change. My PhD project aims to understand the role of transnational connections and exchange across Europe during and after the Cold War, focusing on the history of petroleum trade and petrochemical technology in Poland and Italy. This project is supervised by Aleksandra Komornicka and Cyrus Modi.
